HERSTORY combines all of these elements into collages which are pieced together [by HAND] in layers, affixed to everyday - textured hair grooming tools and decor accessories… Brushes, Hand Mirrors, Mirror Compacts, Fans, Light Switch Plates, Candles, Wall Art…and more.
HERSTORY’s designs are based on vintage ethnic imagery [14 - 19th century]. To preserve the antique character of the images, imperfections that are found in the source materials such as tears and discoloration remain in the finished pieces of decoupage.
